Jean Hilgersom

Jean Hilgersom is trained as an architect in the Netherlands and Switzerland. He is working as Project Manager Museum Extension for the Kröller-Müller Museum, a museum for modern and contemporary art, in Otterlo the Netherlands. He has a working experience for over 35 years. Between 1995 and 2020 he was working as Project Manager and CEO of ToornendPartners in Haarlem in the Netherlands. A consultancy firm with the focus on Real Estate and Project Management of building projects in the field of culture, like museums and theatres. He is member of ICOM, chair of ICAMT, the International Committee for Architecture and Museum Technology from 2013 until 2019. He is member of the ICOM working Group on the future of international Committees, and chair of the supervisory board of KiCulture a foundation which stimulate sustainable solutions for cultural heritage institutions.
