Nicole Smith has worked in museums for over a decade in visitor experience, membership, communications, programming and most importantly sustainability and accessibility. She is passionate about diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion work and truly believes that museums should be for everyone. Through her work, she has helped museums receive local and nations awards for diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion work and was the 2017 recipient of the Leadership Exchange in Arts and Disability Emerging Leader award from the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She is currently the Communications Chair for the Environment and Climate Network of American Alliance of Museums (AAM).
